Cloverleaf Communications Beta Customer to Present Case Study at Storage Networking World Conference
Burlington Coat Factory Will Provide Recommendations for Effective Data Center Management and Highlight the Successful Results of Cloverleaf's System Test
SOUTHBOROUGH, MASS. October 21, 2003 - At the upcoming Storage Networking World conference, October 27-30, 2003, Brad Friedman, vice president of Information Services at Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corporation, will present a case study, including results from the beta implementation of Cloverleaf Communications' intelligent storage networking system. Cloverleaf provides a system-class intelligent storage network solution that harnesses the value and performance of existing data center storage networking infrastructures while simplifying overall deployment and management.
Burlington Coat Factory's Information Services Department, which has been recognized with a number of prestigious IT awards, is well known for early adoption of successful new technologies. As part of his case-study presentation, "The Impact of Storage Network Management Techniques in a Database Development Program," Friedman will outline his company's recent activities, a roadmap of what lies ahead for storage, such as developments in data protection, disaster recovery, consolidation and efficiency in management of storage networking, resulting in substantial cost savings and other specific outcomes of using the Cloverleaf system.
"Brad's case study at SNW will provide conference attendees with real-world management strategies for running a successful data center," said Avi Weiss, CEO of Cloverleaf. "While many companies shy away from new methods, products and technologies, Burlington Coat Factory has been a robust test-bed for many innovative data center products. As a result, they have successfully turned their data center operations from a cost center into a business contribution center for the company. Moving forward, we look forward to enabling them to take better advantage of new technologies and products."
"With so many things in today's business environment to worry about, from security to generating customers, finding ways information services can facilitate making the business more effective and profitable can fall by the wayside," said Friedman. "A company's IT staff should not have to spend their time making sure that the amount of disk available will not keep the company from moving forward. In addition to allowing our MIS staff to do their work more effectively, Cloverleaf's system provides us with simplified management, organizational flexibility and fast information services development capabilities. This is great technology, and the functionality has been impressive. We believe that the Cloverleaf system will be a major benefit to our data center."
Friedman's case study presentation will be held on October 28, 2003 at 4:30 p.m. as part of the Technical Track at the Storage Networking World conference in Orlando, Florida. Conference attendees can learn more about Cloverleaf at the company's booth during conference exhibit hours.
